Can God Really Be Everywhere?

The Bible says that God is omnipotent meaning God is everywhere. While I am here in my home in Baltimore, God is with me. While you may be in another part of the country or another remote part of the world, God is with you. While God is in America, He is also in Africa, Australia, England, Iraq, and China. God really is everywhere.

Just as God is in me and He is in you, He is also the lady down the street who goes to the church on the corner and He is in the man who lives on the street with the sign that says God Bless You Today. While it all seems logical that God is everywhere and in those who believe in Him, and have accepted Him through faith in Jesus Christ, His Son, does that mean that His presence is not in and with those who deny that He is or live as through He does not exist?

Is not God there in space of the atheist? Is His presence not on the corner where the drug dealer deals drugs? Is God’s presence not in court rooms where lawyers lie to defend their clients? Is His presence not in and around the communities that are plagued with violence and crime? If God is omnipotent then there is no place that God is not. He is in our churches on Sundays and He is even with those who deny His very existence.

We cannot deny that He is even in places we deem godless or fear to go. For when God created us in His image and His likeness, He breathed His breath into each of us. Though our attitudes and actions may godless God is still with and in us. Therefore, let us look upon each other not as an enemy to be feared but as a potential
